What is Red Light Therapy?
Red Light Therapy (photobiomodulation) is the use of red light or near-infrared light which is readily absorbed by chromophores in the mitochondria of the body’s cells, promoting a myriad of healing and therapeutic benefits.
Red Light Therapy delivers safe, concentrated wavelengths of natural light to your skin and cells, with no chemicals, UV rays, or excess heat. These red and near infrared wavelengths of light stimulate the mitochondria in your cells similar to natural sunlight, reducing oxidative stress and increasing circulation, so your body is able to make more core energy to power itself.
The Sessions
- 1 x 30 minute Red Light Therapy session: $20.00
What to Expect During a Red Light Therapy Session
Revital Health houses it’s very own Red Light Therapy room with a full length Red Light Rising panel. The experience is simple: step into the Red Light Room, take a seat and enjoy the illuminated space in privacy.
To get the most out of the experience, it’s best to allow full red light exposure to all areas of skin. To do so, we encourage clients to undress as much as they feel comfortable to.
Our Red Light Therapy sessions are 30 minutes in duration, and you are able to take a book and/or other electronic devices in with you.
