About Naomi Newman

Noami is an Endorsed Registered Midwife / Registered Nurse, Sessional Academic and a mother of two, based in Scarborough. She has a background in mental health nursing and OH&S roles in mining, and worked in East Africa before becoming a midwife.
Naomi chose to work as an Endorsed Privately Practising Midwife as it enables her to provide continuity of care and holistic individualised care to support women and their families through pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period. She has worked in private practice for over ten years and has experience in a variety of holistic healing modalities which she incorporates into her practice.
Naomi believes that how we birth our babies has a huge impact on the health and well-being of the woman, baby and the whole family. Birth is a sacred and transformational journey for the woman and her family and as such it deserves the specialised care that only a midwife can provide.
